There are many factors such as smoking; excess exercise, stress, alcohol, poor nutrition; body weight and use of contraceptive can have an impact on the ability to get pregnant. Besides, there are biological factors in males and females that affect fertility.

There are many advanced IVF centers offering the latest services, with success rates equivalent to the west at very affordable costs but without compromising on quality. It is only possible by making use of the latest equipment, best quality disposable & imported culture media, high-class competent service, and very economical professional fees. In vitro fertilization is in short referred to as IVF, in this process, fertilization is a process whereby the egg cells are fertilized by the sperm outside a woman's body.

Methods of IVF:

ICI (Intrauterine Insemination): First line of treatment of Infertile couples. The semen, which has been stored, is processed in a CO2 incubator with special culture media and then the best quality sperms are placed in the uterine cavity around the time of ovulation.

IVF (In vitro Fertilization): It is very useful for unexplained infertility, endometriosis, failed IUI, etc. The eggs are removed vaginally using a needle attached to an ultrasound probe and mixed with husband's sperms & kept in the incubator for two days. The fertilized egg (embryo) is then replaced in the uterus (womb)

Surrogacy is advice for those who cannot carry their pregnancy. The embryos are transferred in the womb of another woman who carries the pregnancy for nine months. The eggs are borrowed from an anonymous egg donor fertilized with the husband's sperms & the resultant embryos were replaced into a surrogate womb.

Many IVF centers offer egg donation for women more than 40 years of age. These techniques have helped older women who are 40year plus & menopausal women to achieve pregnancy.
